For The Best, Liverpool 2010

Culture Liverpool invited For the Best to the city to work with Liverpool residents as part of the 2010 Liverpool Year of Health and Wellbeing.

The Liverpool performance included some core elements of the London performance re-imagined with new content and installations informed by the hospital residency. The performance was developed with artists, performers and children from Matthew Arnold Primary School.

Re-creating the piece in the Gostin Building, Liverpool gave me the opportunity to rework some of the original artworks and installations which included the anatomy of a shed and a room decorated with icing sugar and marzipan fruits - forbidden if you are on dialysis.
