Mirage Oposito

MIRAGE  2007 in Roman Road London as part of Greenwich+Docklands International Festival.

An anarchic and surreal processional street show imagining a journey across continents before arriving in Bow. Mirage was an international collaboration – taking inspiration from the cultures, histories and landscapes of Bow and in particular the Somali community. A new chapter was added to the story – a caravan of sculptural camels, each carrying a cargo of precious stories imagery and themes.

Camels created in collaboration with Ali pretty, Tony Mason and Mike Pattison.
