A performance installation devised by Mark Storor in collaboration with actors and artists in response to the stories of the children being treated in the Dialysis unit at Evelina hospital. It received the TMA award for Best Children’s Theatre 2009.
Once upon a time
There was a young princess
Who often didn’t feel well
For all her life she was often sick.
The princess, whose name was a secret,
Lived in the tallest tower of a glittering palace
With round windows and a lilac flag
That flew in the wind.
Working with the children’s imagery, Sofie designed and created the tiger's costume, the sick princess's dress and other installations within the piece.
